Lyrics.
You hold me in your eyes
In your own special way
I wonder how you know
The things I never say
I can’t imagine life
Without you by my side
The power of your love
Is all I need tonight
I know there have been times
That I have caused you pain
I’d turn them all around
If I could start again
There is something I must say
I know it’s overdue
The sweetest thing I’ve known
Or ever called my own
Begins and ends with you
How I love you
How I love you
The softness of your lips
The color of your hair
The memory of your touch
Remains when you’re not there
The echoes of your laughter
When I’m feeling blue
The meaning of my life
It all begins with you
So come into my arms
Lay down by my side
The moon is always there
To keep our love alight
I’ve reached so very high
For everything that’s mine
And at the top is you
I want you for all time
And dream forever you
How I love you
How I love you
The softness of your lips
The color of your hair
The memory of your touch
Remains when you’re not there
The echoes of your laughter
When I’m feeling blue
The meaning of my life
It all begins with you
So come into my arms
Lay down by my side
The moon is always there
To keep our love alight
You know me like a book
You’ve read a thousand times
We know each other’s hearts
We read each other’s mind
This feeling’s always new
How I love you
How I love you
The softness of your lips
The color of your hair
The memory of your touch
Remains when you’re not there
The echoes of your laughter
When I’m feeling blue
The meaning of my life
It all begins with you
The softness of your lips
The color of your hair
Info Arnold George Dorsey born May 2, 1936 in Chennai, India (British India), known professionally as Engelbert Humperdinck, is a British pop singer. In 1947, moved with his family to England, where they settled in Leicester. A self-described dreamer and loner, Humperdinck dropped out of school at the age of 15. He began singing in men's clubs, but it was a hard way to make a living. Singing under the name Gerry Dorsey In attempt to reinvent himself, the performer followed the advice of his new manager who changed his name to Engelbert Humperdinck, the same name as the late 19th century German composer and creator of the opera Hansel and Gretel. In 1967, Humperdinck hit it big with the single "Release Me." At one point, the single sold 80,000 copies a day. Engelbert Humperdinck also made the charts with such songs as "Am I That Easy to Forget" and "A Man Without Love (Quando M'innamoro)." His last major pop single came in 1976 with "After the Lovin'," which also reached the top of the Billboard adult contemporary chart. In 1979, he returned to the top of the adult contemporary chart with "This Moment in Time." He toured extensively and became a fixture on the Las Vegas concert scene. He also continued to record, including the albums Remember I Love You (1987) and Yours (1993) with song ''How I Love You''. More recently, in 2014 Humperdinck released a new album of duets, Engelbert Calling, on which recording songs with such famed musicians as Elton John, Smokey Robinson and Kenny Rogers. Often called the "King of Romance," Humperdinck continues to perform today; he reportedly averages about 140 shows per year. The original version of this song is called "Porque yo te amo", written by Roberto Sánchez "Sandro" and Oscar Anderle in 1968. In 2014 Dolce & Gabbana launched the Dolce fragrance setting up an advertising campaign in style: original music by the maestro Ennio Morricone and direction of the Sicilian director, Oscar winner, Giuseppe Tornatore, already author, years ago, of the first commercials of the Milanese brand. The two-minute short film, from which the television commercials were then taken, was shot in the garden of the eighteenth-century Villa Eleonora Nicolaci in Villadorata, near the city of Noto, considered the most beautiful extra-urban noble residence in the province of Syracuse. The protagonist is the beautiful Canadian model Kate King, considered by Dolce and Gabbana as a new Angelica of The Leopard. The film, shot in Sicilian dialect, tells the story of a courtship that takes place during the lemon harvest in a Sicilian manor house. The atmosphere is the cheerful one of a small village where everyone, from children to the elderly, is involved in work. One of the workers in charge of the lemon harvest, played by the Italian actor Brenno Placido (son of director Michele Placido and actress Simonetta Stefanelli), sees from afar the beautiful Lia (Kate King) dressed in a white lace dress. The eyes of the two young people cross from afar and he, kidnapped by her beauty, collects a lemone flower from a tree and entrusts it to a little girl, who then passes it on to another child who finally delivers it to Lia with a kiss on the cheek. "Making a film for Dolce&Gabbana is not like shooting a simple commercial. Stefano and Domenico do not submit a plot to me, but a feeling: they asked me to recreate an atmosphere of joyful seduction, a sense of kindness. This is how the Dolce commercial was born, which is the story of a courtship, it is a story of love and courage, of great Sicilian atmosphere", says Giuseppe Tornatore Info about the visual content Dolce & Gabbana spot with Canadian model Katelyn Elizabeth King.
