Seems like it was yesterday when I saw your face

You told me how proud you were but I walked away

If only I knew what I know today

    Ooh ooh

I would hold you in my arms

I would take the pain away

Thank you for all you’ve done

    Forgive all your mistakes

    There’s nothing I wouldn’t do

    To hear your voice again

Sometimes I wanna call you but I know you won’t be there

Oh, I’m sorry for blaming you for everything I just couldn’t do

And I’ve hurt myself by hurting you

Some days I feel broke inside but I won’t admit

Sometimes I just wanna hide ’cause it’s you I miss

And it’s so hard to say goodbye when it comes to this, ooh, whoa

Would you tell me I was wrong?

    Would you help me understand?

Are you looking down upon me?

Are you proud of who I am?

    There’s nothing I wouldn’t do

To have just one more chance

To look into your eyes and see you looking back

Oh, I’m sorry for blaming you for everything I just couldn’t do

And I’ve hurt myself, oh, oh, oh

If I had just one more day

I would tell you how much that I’ve missed you since you’ve been away

    Oh, it’s dangerous

    It’s so out of line

To try and turn back time

I’m sorry for blaming you for everything I just couldn’t do

And I’ve hurt myself by hurting you

Christina Maria Aguilera, (born December 18, 1980, Staten Island, New York, U.S.). Christina Aguilera is a well known American singer, songwriter, producer and a movie actress who emerged during the teen pop explosion of the late 1990s and experienced almost instant commercial success.

She is often referred to as the “Voice of a Generation” due to her remarkable four-octave vocal range, musical reinventions, and her ability to sustain high notes, including the use of the whistle register. Throughout her career, Aguilera has incorporated controversial themes such as feminism, sexuality, LGBT culture, and the sex-positive movement into her work. She gained prominence after recording “Reflection,” the theme song for the 1998 animated film Mulan, and subsequently signed a record deal with RCA Records.

Her debut album, Christina Aguilera (1999), catapulted her to fame with hit singles like “Genie in a Bottle,” “What a Girl Wants,” and “Come On Over Baby (All I Want Is You)”. Aguilera’s accolades include winning the Grammy Award for Best New Artist. She continued her success with albums like Mi Reflejo (2000), which became the best-selling Latin pop album of 2000, and My Kind of Christmas (2000).

Aguilera’s career took a bold turn with the release of Stripped (2002), which initially received mixed reviews but went on to become one of the best-selling albums of the 21st century. Her critically acclaimed album Back to Basics (2006) showcased an old-school music-inspired sound. Over the years, she delivered numerous international hits, including “Lady Marmalade,” “Beautiful,” “Dirrty,” “Can’t Hold Us Down,” “Fighter,” “Ain’t No Other Man,” ” You Lost Me ,” and “ Hurt ”.

Collaborations like “Feel This Moment,” “Say Something,” and “Moves like Jagger” kept her at the top of the charts, with the latter reaching number one on the Hot 100, making Aguilera one of the few artists to achieve this feat across three decades
