Vitaa and Slimane are a French musical duo composed of Vitaa and Slimane.
Vitaa (Charlotte Gonin) born 14 March 1983 is a French-Italian singer – songwriter who was discovered by DJ Kost, who paired her with Dadoo in a duet. They sang “Pas à pas” (‘Step by Step’). It was at this event that she was first called “Vitaa.” She worked for several years in collaboration with various hip hop and R&B artists and eventually with Diam’s and Pit Baccardi on Oublie, then a solo on the album Première classe RnB with the song “Ma sœur” (‘My Sister’). She performed a second duet with Dadoo, “Sur ta route” (‘On Your Way’), then made several more duets with various other singers, including “Mytho” with Mafia K’1 Fry, “Bol d’air” with Rohff and Jasmin. Vitaa later collaborated with Diam’s on the song “Confessions Nocturnes”, with which she became known to the general French public.
Slimane Nebchi born 13 October 1989, known professionally by the mononym Slimane, is a French-Algerian singer – songwriter. Slimane won season 5 of The Voice: la plus belle voix in 2016, and has since released many albums, an EP and several singles. He is scheduled to represent France in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with the song “Mon amour”. He has since released many albums, an EP and several singles.
The duo Vitaa and Slimane was formed in 2018 and they s’associent for the first time on the title “Je te le donne”, issued from Vitaa’s sixth album, Just me myself & moi-même.
À Fleur De Toi is the debut studio album by French singer Vitaa, released on 5 February 2007 by Motown France. It achieved great success in France, Belgium, and Switzerland.
On August 23, 2019, they decided to release their first album ”VersuS”, which is composed of 19 tracks, including six guest artists: Amel Bent, Camille Schneyder, Camélia Jordana, Gims, Kendji Girac and Sola which has sold more than 500,000 copies. After two months of release, the project was certified diamond.
